Myllymäen Peruna is big seed potato company, which produces, markets and sells representative seed potato varieties in Finland. Myllymäen Peruna are a finnish-owned family company. Varieties are suitable for growing conditions in Finland with long daylights and short summer. Varieties is very early or early and will be able to use the growth of a long day of light. Varieties have very good crop productivity and diseases resistances are high. The choice of varieties also takes account of good taste and the flesh color must be yellow. Our goal is to provide customers with suitable varieties, which are of the quality top. Our varieties are get high yields and good results of the trials Kristiinankaupunki and Jepua trial fields annually.

Finnish climate and northern growing conditions give advantage to farm a high quality seed potatoes without dangerous potato disease and pests. Finland’s colder climate reduces the spread of viruses. We produce seed from all classes from PB to A-class.

Our seed breeders Agrico, Norika, Solana and IPM Potato are big certified seed potato producer, processor and distributor.
